Silent Auction Items

Rams,

A Silent Auction is held at the Spring Concert each year. In the past, each major section of the band has been assigned a theme and then each member of the section is encouraged to donate items for baskets.  Each member of the section is asked to bring 1 – 2 items for their section basket.
This year, instead of assigning a theme, the student leadership team (drum majors, officers, and section leaders) selected the themes for their section.  Here they are with examples of things each student can bring. You aren’t limited to these examples. You can be as creative as you want with your items.
  • Percussion: Breakfast Basket (ex: muffins, juice, pop tarts, etc.)
  • Saxophones: Summer Basket (ex: sun block, pool toys, Mens/Womens flip flops)
  • Trumpets/Mellows: Bath & Body Works Basket (ex: lotions, soaps, etc.)
  • Flutes: Spa Basket (ex: eye masks, bubble bath, lotion, face masks, etc.)
  • Clarinets: Movie Night Basket (gift certificates to the movies, pop corn, pop corn containers, movie posters, t-shirts,  etc.)
  • Low Brass: Spurs & Cowboys Basket (EX: posters, fan gear, t-shirts, cups, koozies, etc)
  • Color Guard: Health Basket (ex: exercise video, yoga mat, gel insoles, mini pedometer, etc.)
There will be additional baskets that have been donated at the Spring concert.  Anyone who would like to donate a complete basket is welcome to.
Please bring items in by MONDAY, May 22nd.  I will be collecting them after school and will begin assembling baskets on Monday Night (the 22nd) & Tuesday, May 23rd.  The section whose basket brings in the most money will get a small prize at the banquet!
Thanks,

Sponsorship Packets

Hey Ram Community,

At last Tuesday night’s Band Booster meeting, we announced our next corporate fundraisers and handed out these attachments that give more information about the fundraising.
We’ll be hosting a Bowl-A-Thon on MARCH 26th and a golf tournament on April 8th. We will need everyone’s help collecting corporate donations for each of these things.
These fundraisers are both a student fundraiser, as well as a corporate fundraising opportunity.   For every corporate sponsorship a student can attain, they can earn $25.00 towards their student account.
FOR THE BOWL-A-THON:
The Sponsorship solicitation will run from now until the 10th of MARCH.
FOR THE GOLF TOURNAMENT:
The Sponsorship solicitation will run from now until the 20th of MARCH.
The students can take the Sponsorship Packet (CLICK HERE) to a business and that business should have all the information they need to make decisions about donations to give.
We’re super excited about these events.  Be on the lookout for the email with registration information for these events soon!
Thank you,
Veronica (Ronnie) Santiago

Registration Day on Monday 7/25/2016

Hello & Welcome to the 2016-2017 Ram Band!

Registration will be held tomorrow at the band hall from 2pm – 8pm and we hope to see each and every one of you there!  I am always excited for a new school year, as it is my chance to start fresh and to try and be a little more organized! There are a few administrative items that do need to be taken care of tomorrow.

By clicking on the link here –> ( Registration Forms 2016-2017) you will find downloadable registration forms which include everything that we need from you.  You can type in your info, print them out, sign them, and then bring the signed copy in with you to the registration days.  It is important that we have this information on file for every student.  We will have parent booster members at the band hall to help guide you through the process and to answer any questions that you may have.

The importance of tomorrow though, goes beyond the forms.  It is the opportunity for each of us to begin to know each other!  The first few months can be overwhelming with band camp, football games, concessions, and competitions.  I remember coming in as a freshman parent and feeling completely lost!  I promise that once you get involved, and we all begin supporting our kids at these events, it will be what you look most forward to!
The Ram Band is a very special family!
I’m looking forward to this year and cannot wait to know each of you!
Thank you so much!
