Announcements/ Reminders

  • If you are going to the playoff basketball game you need to be at the school by 5:15pm. It is a 7:00pm game. We should be back by around 9ish

  • Band Booster Meeting at 7pm on Tuesday

  • Indoor Drumline – We will not have any early practices this week.
  • If your student has been assigned Mr. Prado for their piano accompanist they will need to see Mr. Tabb to sign up for a time to practice with him after school on Wednesday

* You must have a flip folder and lyre if you are a woodwind or brass player in order to go the game. Battery percussion you just need the flip folder
* If you are signed up for concessions don’t worry about the after school practice on Thursday
* I have prelims tickets for the US Bands Competition at Rutledge stadium on Saturday for $12.
* The Game Friday vs. Taft is the Pink out Game. Students can wear pink accessories with their uniform ie. sweatbands, wristbands, bandanas, etc.
* Make sure you bring your show shirt and show shorts to change into after the marching competition performances
* If you would like to chaperone:

JMHS Weekly Schedule: 9/19- 9/24

Rams,
I want to give out kudos for two of our Ram Band members Jacob Authier, who  finished 1st chair first band and Roman Martinez, who finished 2nd chair second band at All Region Jazz auditions this afternoon. Fantastic job gentleman. The weekly schedule is below and at this Saturday’s game we will have all four of our middle school feeders (Connally, Rudder, Stevenson, and Neff) in attendance. We will also be performing a patriotic medley with Jay HS to honor our troops. Please attend if you can. It should be a great night. Go Rams!!!!!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Labor day weekend. The weekly schedule is below, look over and contact me with any questions. I have also emailed an attendance policy you need to review, sign, and turn into me by Friday. I have also attached the performance schedule for the entire marching schedule. Weekly Schedule 8/29- 9/3

Rams,
We made it through our first football game. Yeah! We had cold buses. We had hot buses. We had pizza to spare and our equipment truck found the stadium before we performed at halftime. All in all, a very good first performance. I want to thank all of the parents who volunteered their time and efforts to help get us down and back from Laredo. We couldn’t function without you and I appreciate all of your help. We will be starting movement two drill this week, so GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!.   As always, contact me with any questions or concerns. Go Rams!!!!!!!
